Twinkies, Salt and More in NYC

We are just home from five fun-filled days visiting our youngest son in New York City.  Morgan moved there three years ago, and we really enjoy visiting.  Each time there are new neighborhoods and shops to visit, new food places to try, and the people watching is tippity-top.  This picture is a display of rock salt serving pieces at The Meadows, a shop devoted to an amazing collection of salts for sale.

Our tour guide extraordinaire, Morgan, and hubby Raoul.

Another memorable foodie stop was the Lulu Cake Boutique.  I had read about their twinkies being served as the wedding cake at Chelsea Clinton’s wedding.

Scrumptious!

Next up – The Brooklyn Flea Market.

We had a wonderful time. I can’t wait to show you my Fofolle skirt/poncho!

Okay, now I’m getting jealous. Did you make friends with Ms. Fofolle? And can your friends be friends?
