I am so lucky to be a part of the most wonderful group of charm swapping friends. We meet every six months to trade charms that we have created or collected with one another. The group ranges from 20 to 25 women. We swap helpful hints about jewelry making, share the stories of our charms, and admire the show and tell that appears. There’s lots of food and lots of joy. I am usually distracted, and mean to take lots of pictures. This time, I thankfully handed my camera to Julie. She took these fabulous shots before she got distracted too!

Beth – love all the charms. Are you going to teach a jewelry class again at the Ruffles & Rust show in Oct?

Hi Gail – There aren’t going to be any classes at the next Ruffles & Rust show. But I hope to teach a jewelry class at the Ruffles & Rust store in Snohomish shortly after the October show has happened. I’ll keep you posted as there is more definite info. Thanks for your interest! It was really fun to see you in the front row at the Molbak’s gig.

I think the highlight for me is collecting the charms in that paper bag. After the party is over, I get the biggest kick out of dumping my treasures out, and looking closer at each masterpiece. I am very excited to find the perfect piece of clothing/accessory to adorn with your beautiful fabric flower pin!

It was swell to see you as well. Your aqua blue flower charms were killer! The mum is planted outside our front door now, looking as cheerful as can be. I look forward to our next visit and hearing about your wonderful time at the Creative Connection.

I really enjoy this fun tradition of ours. This circle of friends of ours is special. We are “relishing” your strawberry-rhubarb compote. I look forward to putting up my own batch during the next strawberry season. Here’s to many more lovely days spent together with our friends.
